About Craig Hartfield
Craig has been performing musically and theatrically for 30 years. Known throughout Tampa Bay for his vocal versatility, Craig has performed with both choral and vocal jazz groups; been the lead singer in a classic rock band; has been directed by renowned American opera conductor and composer, Maestro Anton Coppola; spent one performance filled season as a resident actor at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire; and has been featured in over 40 theatrical productions. Some of his most notable roles include Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha, Father in Children of Eden, Nathan in Guys and Dolls, Pseudolus in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Snoopy in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Albert in Bye, Bye, Birdie. Craig has been touring the region with musical tribute shows featuring music from the 50s, 60s, 70s and Big Band eras as well as shows paying tributes to legends like Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra.

Craig is proud to be a Founding Board Member of the New Tampa Players and the Managing Director and a Resident Entertainer at Salerno Entertainment.
Craig was fortunate enough over the years to have worked with great directors and trainers in acting, voice, projection, stage combat and dialect. His vocal teaching philosophy is that performers must first find their own voice, strengthen it, and then learn how to use their instrument to accomplish all the sounds they desire. From Pop Music to Broadway, no style is unattainable. While training acting skills Craig focuses on bringing out an actor's natural and sincere portrayal of characters.
In addition to teaching private voice and acting lessons, Craig is the acting instructor for the Carrollwood Cultural Center's Broadway Bound childrens performance group and is the former Adjunct Voice teacher for the Musical Theater Department at Howard W. Blake High School, Tampa's Performing Arts School. (More info about training)
